Consumer dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

Note on the “Park or charge?” calculator

The calculator and diagrams are intended to provide an overview. The results are approximations based on your inputs and simplified assumptions, for example a balanced load, a constant charging current and flat-rate charging losses. The stored kWh prices are those of the “ELE Autostrom mobil” plan for ELE customers (as of October 2026): 39 ct/kWh at ELE AC chargers and 59 ct/kWh at AC chargers of other operators. In addition, an idle fee of 10 ct per minute applies after 180 minutes of connection time. The plan costs €3.99 per month; this amount is not included in the calculation. At ELE AC chargers, ELE customers pay no idle fee between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. Only the current price sheets of Emscher Lippe Energie GmbH, the billing of the charging station operator and the parking rules on site are authoritative. No guarantee is given for the accuracy or timeliness of the information.
